Frequently I am asked by callers if there is much to do in Hot Springs.
Is there much to do!?! Wow! Well, we have a link at the bottom of
the page to a website that specializes in "Insider Travel Tips" for Hot
Springs, AR. I have decided to bring a couple of the links from their page to
our page for your education and entertainment.
Trust me, unless you are
in a coma on life support there is plenty to do in Hot Springs!

Here are a few of the new attractions in Hot Springs that I have personal experience with. Each year or so "Roberts' Family Attractions" tries to bring a new attraction to the Hot Springs area. The year before last they opened up "T-Rex Jurassic Golf," an indoor mini-golf course with a "Jurassic Park" type of theme. Played under black light in a climate controlled building, you are treated to animatronic creatures and a smoke spewing volcano.
Last year, "T-Rex Go-Carts" opened advertising the fastest go-carts in town (and the slickest track)! That's right, the slickest track! This track is made for "drifting" and is a ball to drive. If you do not know what "drifting" is, you
will by the end of the first lap! Both of these attractions are still priced at just $6.00 per person (with the double carts at $7.00) and are family friendly and affordable. Last fall the Roberts opened T-Rex Laser Tag. Priced
at just $7.00 per player it is very affordable (and loads of fun!).
This year Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum , which is located in the old Southern Club Casino, has added an entire new section called "The Gambling Museum" with artifacts, equipment and displays from the days that Hot Springs, AR was the "neutral" playground for all of the big gangsters (Al Capone, Alvin "Creepy" Karpis, Bonnie and Clyde, Lucky Luciano and many more). Priced at only $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for children you can take all the time that you wish on your self guided tour. Also, for a few dollars more, you can tour "The Escape Tunnel" of the old Southern Club Casino.
Combo tickets of the various "Roberts' Family Attractions" which includes the National Park Duck Tours are also
available.
While you have your mind on gambling and gangsters, walk 2 full blocks down Central Avenue through the
Historic District to The Gangster Museum of America ($12.00 for adults, $6.00 for children). This is a "Must See" in Hot Springs! There you can take a guided tour through the history of Hot Springs during the "gambling years."
Holy Cow! This is just the beginning of things to do and see!
Take it from this old man (61 yo), you will not run out of things to do in Hot Springs, so click here to make
your reservations at Leisure Landing RV Park and come to stay (uh, make that play) for a while.
